New Expense Report Policy -effective November 1,2010

1.2.2         Timely submission of ERs.

Expense reports for services rendered to STSR by instructors, assessors, and State Committee members are due no later than
thirty (30) days following the date of service. If the event is multi-day, the date of service shall be the last day of the event.
ERs will be considered submitted when received by the appropriate technical director or SRA for approval. ERs submitted after
thirty days shall not be considered payable. Technical directors or SRA may under unusual circumstances extend the submission
deadline for an additional thirty days.

This policy becomes effective on November 1, 2010. Effective from  that date forward, any service by an instructor, assessor, or
State Committee member must meet the time requirements as listed in policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

The 2010 Assessor In-Service clinic (for the 2011 badge year) will be held at the Sugar Land Community Center
in Sugar Land, Texas on Sunday June 13th, 2010 from 9am-6pm. We have an STSR rate of $79.00 for single and $83.00
for double rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sugar Land. Reservations must be made by May 28th. To reserve

To sign up, Register online at www.stsr.org , sign-in to your account, use Fee Based Services to Add Registrations, add your 2011
Instructor and/or Assessor Registration, and Reserve the clinics, and pay your associated fees. Note if you are both an instructor
and assessor, you MUST register for both, and reserve both clinics. Since they are combined, you will only be charged for one of them.
If you plan to use this for your Referee Recertification hours, also Add Registration for your Referee Recert, and select the Instructor/Assessors

Entry Assessor Clinics

Entry Assessor clinics are scheduled once a year based on need and demand. If you are interested in becoming an Assessor and have been a Grade 7 or higher USSF Referee, send an email to the SDA . When an Entry Assessor clinic is scheduled, you will be added to the roster and sent an email. To complete registeration for the Entry Assessors class, after you receive the note, sign-in to your account and perform the checkout procedure to pay the pending clinic and registration fees.

Assessor Recertification

Assessors must recertify each calendar year. To do so , assessors must register for and attend the annual Assessors In-Service clinic. Simply sign-in to your account, and select the Assessors In-Service clinic. If you do not see the Instructors In-Service clinic listed, click on Add Registrations, and select the Instructor check box. Then complete the checkout procedure to pay the associated Registration and clinic fee - BEFORE the clinic cutoff date.

Assessors Recertifying as Referees

Assessors that complete the Assessor In-Service clinic may use these hours and Test score for Referee Recertification (Grades 8,7 and Emeritus) by Registering for the Paper-Only Grade 7/8 Recert clinic for Instructors/Assessors - 06-07-1209-R78, The clinic is free, but you MUST pay your Referee Registration fee online.

Assessment Procedures

• Assessor:
  • assigned by State Director of Assessments ( Grades 5,NatProv,4,3)
  • assigned by District Director of Assessments (Grades 6,7,8)
• Assessor shall obtain USSFIDs and Verify Crew members current year registrations
  • Use Current Registration List
• Let the Referee or Assistant Referee being assessed know if they will be charged for Assessor mileage
• Provide Feedback to full Crew within 72 hours of the match
• Utilize the USSF ussoccergameofficials.net online assessment system within 72 hours of the match
• File an Expense Report with the SDA (if you want to be paid)
