Referee Registration Procedure
When you go to your entry level clinic, you will be given a registration form to complete, then and there. This applies for new and currently registered referees.
To complete the registration process:
- All fees will be collected at the clinic - $25.00 clinic fee plus the registration fee:
$20.00 for Linesman, Grade 12,
$20.00 for Recreational, Grade 9,
$25.00 for Referees, Grades 7 and 8,
$40.00 for State Referees, Grades 5 and 6.
- Your clinic results (if you pass everything) will be recorded on your registration form along with the fees collected.
- The signed registration form, clinic fee and registration fee for Grades 8-12 will be collected by the Instructor at the clinic. (Grades 5-7 should mail this information directly to the SRA.)
- The Instructor will process the forms and send the registration forms and fees to STSR.
- STSR will process the registration forms and forward them to National.
- IF YOU HAVE TO RETAKE THE TEST, the instructor will give you your registration form and a clinic attendance form to take to your next testing period. When you pass the next test, give the clinic attendance form to the instructor along with your registration form. Since the clinic fee has already been collected, the only additional fee is for USSF registration.
There are some referee or playing associations that pay all or some of your fees. If this is the case, then they should have a representative present at the clinic to pay the fees. If they are not, the referee is responsible for the registration and clinic fees.
Please note:
- Confirm/provide the type of registration and the year of registration at the top of the form.
- Step 1 Biographical Information Confirm the preprinted information. If blank or incorrect, fill in the appropriate boxes with the correct information. State Association is "TXS", District may be left blank.
- Step 2 Upgrade Request Fill this out if you are requesting an upgrade.
- Step 3 Game Information Fill this out only if you are recertifying.
- Step 4 US Soccer Donation Fill this out if you are making an additional donation to the National Training Center.
- Step 5 Information Certification You must check the appropriate box, sign and date this section! Read it carefully first.
- Do not write in the Administrative areas; these are for the Instructor's and Administrator's use.
If you choose not to register at the clinic, send your registration form, registration fee, and the clinic attendance form to your Area Director of Registration.
If you have any questions, contact your ADR.
